Official Google Chrome for Mac Builds Available Now

Google has finally made available officials builds of Chrome for Mac.  When new features or major bug fixes are available for chrome for mac, I will post the information on the chrome page with a link to the official build. The update  schedule  of the chrome page will also change from every two weeks  to once every week or shorter. You can follow techsutra on twitter to know when new major builds are available on the chrome page.  Google does not make an RSS feed available for builds, so keeping track of the changes is a little difficult as there are more than 20 builds available each day.

You should follow me on twitter here

Thanks for the post! A correction though: Your post talks about Google Chrome, but what you’re linking to isn’t Chrome; it’s Chromium, the open-source project behind Chrome. There is no Google Chrome build for Mac out yet.

Yeah. I know that. But the difference confuses some. So I decided to stick with “Chrome” which is the better known name.

As far as I am aware, Chromium is the HTML rendering engine, while Chrome is the browser. Just like Webkit is the Rendering engine and Safari is the browser etc.

@loll: no, Chrome is just google branded chromium with update service etc. The rendering engine for chrome/chromium is Webkit and V8 is the javascript engine.
